We have a 1998 Honda CR-V and planning to sell it.   The transmission
blew about a year ago and we got a rebuilt transmission for about
$2,000.  No problems with new tranny.
1)   Does having a rebuilt transmission increase or decrease the
resale value of the car ?
2)   Will it be apparent to a dealer that the tranny has been
rebuilt.

Thanks

   Yes depending on who's asking.
