Turn the ignition to "on" but don't start the car & try the front washer.
If you don't hear the washer motor, check the wiring to the washer motor.
If you have 12V at the connector to the washer motor (when its energized),
that motor is gone bad.
If you hear it pumping but nothing comes out, check for clogged nozzles &
pinches in the hose. Also look for puddles under the car where there might
be a leak or disconnection in the hose.

Thanks, I tried ignition on only, and no motor noise. Is the motor in
the Fender behind the headlight, inder the reservoir. In fact IS
there a separate pump for the the rear washers, or is it the same
pump? No puddles or leaking fluid.

The motor is going to be inserted into the tank near the bottom. There will
be separate pumps for the front & the back. You'll know for sure when you
get the fender liner, etc. out of the way to see the tank. Probably want to
double check that you haven't missed a blown fuse before taking the car
apart.

I checked the Owners Manual to se which fuse applies for the Winsheild
washer Pump and couldn't find one indicated in either the under
dash,nor under hood Fuse boxes.
I guess I missed it, I'll check again.
Thanks,

I checked the Element 2003 owner's manual for the Underhood and
Interior fuse applicable to the Windsheild washer pump and can't find
one, unless it's doing double duty with something else, but there's
nothing else that's Not working, sheesh :-(
