I am trying to solve a braking problem, on the above. With engine running,
car stationary, brake pedal goes to the floor. When on the road, slight
improvement is noticed.
I have freed the brakes, because of rust, (not seized) bled the system,
any ideas, thanks.

Either there is still some air in the system or the master cylinder is
failing.

Sometimes the master gets wrecked when the bleeding is done because of
pushing the pedal too close to the floor. Since yours was bad before you
started, no loss. Replace the master cylinder (or kit?).
