The passenger door power window stops working in either position from
both the driver side switch and the passenger side switch after
operating a couple times, then it will start working again. Is there
an overload trip? It does not blow a fuse.

If we're talking about a Honda product here (you don't say what you
have), then it could be the door control unit located behind the door
panel.  I had an Accord door control that developed a bad solder joint
on the circuit board at a relay.  I carefully broke the box open and
reheated the joint with a soldering iron.  It's similar to how the main
relay often breaks in these vehicles.
