My family has just purchased a 2007 Honda Odyssey EX. It's a sweet car
all around. But the only complaint we have is a whistling wind noise
when the driver's window is open. We took it to the dealer and the
problem somehow disappeared. They said it could be the windshield. But
the whistling noise came back after leaving the dealer and it's really
annoying. I don't know why the heck this problem is coming and
going. ??????

Look for some loose trim. Also, what kind of antenna does this car have?
Some of the old metal mast antennas can make a whistling noise (drive an
older Ram pickup!!). You can get a cover for the antenna that will stop
the noise.
Perhaps it is the amount you have the window open. I notice on newer cars
without drip gutters that having the windows open a certain amount make
kind of a whining noise.

The antenna on the car is hidden (like on most Honda cars nowadays).

Check the rubber molding around the windshield, is it buckled, loose, or
warped?
