Cabin filter change for 2000 Odyssey

I found this; do I really have to disconnect the
battery cable, or is this a CYA step?

It's just for safety, since you'll get distracted from changing the
cabin filter when you remember the burnt-out bulb in the heater controls
and then you'll start messing with something else. It's not necessary. AFAIK

LOL! I did it without disconnecting the cable.
