1999 Honda Acord A/C and Heat Issue

When the 1999 Honda Acord has sat for a few days or overnight, the AC
(including fan, heat, defrost, and even the dash display) won't come
on. Even the display goes black.

If she slams the hood or fuse box cover or hit the dashboard a few
times, it comes back on. When it works, it works fine. Does anyone
have any suggestions?

I'd say she's a keeper. Any gal who can fix a Honda without tools is
worth her weight in salt.
