DOOR CHECKER (DETENT ROD?) 1995 HONDA CIVIC DX COUPE BROKEN

Can one change just the rod itself without taking the door apart?
Does anyone have the complete assembly for sale?  thanks.  Driver
side, although the part number is the same for both left and right.

The diagrams at www.slhondaparts.com are very good. The door has to come
'apart' no matter what you want to do. It's only about three minutes to
get the panel off the door.

last time i looked, yes.  how is it broken?

get one from a junk yard.
