Hello, Group:

Recently I brought my car into the repair shop to have a new catalyst
converter and o2 sensor replaced.  After all the work was done, when
I'm idle and goto accelerate my car jerks.  This happens only when I
begin to accelerate after being stopped.

The repair shop had to do some welding to install the catalyst
converter, which was an after market catalyst converter.

What mileage, what tranny? Is your CHECK ENGINE light still
participating in the 'test' when you first turn the key to position II?
Look in the owner's manual if you don't know how to do that part.

The tranny has less than 75K miles on it.  Check engine light is
gone.  It ran smoothly until I left the repair shop.  I'm not sure if
the check engine light is still participating anymore, I will have to
watch next time I turn the car on.
