hi,
i have a honda civic 1998. It has a multimatic gear box. Around 4
months back, without knowing this gear box is a CVT, i changed gear
oil with normal ATF. Still the vehicle is running OK, but it gives a
small vibration when i try to accelerate. I need to know following.
1) does this type of gear boxes seriously require a CVT specific gear
oil. Will using normal ATF ruin it?
2) What is this vibration. (it was there even before i changed gear
oil i think). Is it easy to repair?

thanks
