I replaced my license place bulbs. The bulbs remain lit until I close the trunk. What gives? Thank you. How forcefully do you shut the lid? Have you tried just pushing it down until it latches? Did you originally replace the bulb because it was "burned out"? Did you look at the bulb to see if it actually was? I know I don't, but if a second bulb dies so quickly, I start looking at the sucker. I know with house bulbs, we look at them to see how much metal was spattered on the glass, or how badly broken the filiment is.
