Looks like I'm in need of a new rear bumper cover for a '98 Civic:

Damage is to the right rear side. I forgot to use the parking brakes
and the car rolled backwards and scraped an old vehicle that is no
longer in service -- no harm to other vehicle. The car rolled back
about 30 feet @ ~ 3 mph on a 2-5 deg. decline (guesses).

I'm waiting to hear back online for estimates to replace the rear
bumper cover.

Are you kidding?  That's repairable.  No need to replace.

I don't see any dents, just some scratches and paint from the other
vehicle. You can polish that off and apply some touchup paint. Don't
spend $1000 replacing that bumper cover.
