They were dim.  Consumer Reports rated them fair.  In my opinion they should
have been rated poor or worse.  My salesman had the exact same car.  When I
complained to him he said he just thought his eyes were going bad as far as
night vision and didn't realize it was the headlights.  I was able to
improve them dramatically by using same wattage HIR bulbs.  Not to be
confused with junk bulbs with blue tints, etc, HIR bulbs have an internal
infrared coating that  reflects heat back to the filament making it burn
much hotter and giving off 50% or more light than same wattage regular
halogen.  They are designed for specific vehicles but if the base is trimmed
they can be fit into many other vehicles like the 2005 Accord hybrid.  I
have no idea whether later accords or non hybrid accords have the same
headlight problem.  We would have had to get rid of the 2005 Accord hybrid
immediately if we hadn't found a fix for the headlight issue.
