Not sure about Canada, but in the US most car parts stores stock
generic replacement mirrors.  You just knock out the remains of the
old one and glue the new one into the housing.  Not usually a perfect
fit, but close enough that most people wouldn't notice unless it is
pointed out to them.

A possible alternative would be to get one from a wrecking yard,
disassemble it and just use the mirror itself.
