Car turns over as if the battery is almost dead. But battery is good and lights remain bright if starting. Like chug, chug, chug, chug then starts. I replaced the main FUEL relay (for the HOT days non-start) but this is as if the starter (where is it located) is not getting all of the crank amps that it needs (starter armature ??). Thanks ! Engine (or battery) may not be properly grounded any more. remove and clean all connections before going to the trouble of pulling starter. 'Curly' If its the starter and like my son's civic 1987 the starter was a snap to replace did it from on top, removed the battery then the starter,easy switch. The starter motor is located on top of the transaxle. Two bolts size (?), and two wires. ON my 90 HB one was bolted to the starter, and one was just cliped in. Just remember to pull the battery and the air intake tube. Makes the job a lot easier. Some of the auto parts stores now do free tests on your engine. I advise you to have them test all aspects of the system--such as alternator. Might be varnish buildup in the engine. It had the HOT start problem..but engine always sounds like it is starting in zero degrees (even when it is 60F out) >>Car turns over as if the battery is almost dead.
