I recently had a few warranty repairs done to my 2003 Honda Accord.
In the process, the dealer put gash in my vinyl dash next to the
radio. The dealer offered to replace the dash, but warned me that
this could result in major rattling problems. The car itself rattles
a lot so I don't know how much worse it can get. Has anyone had their
dash replaced? If so, does the dash rattle or make a lot of noise?

I had one replaced once under warranty on an Oldsmobile. It took 7 trips
back to the dealer before everything behind the dash was properly
reconnected and everything worked again. It didn't rattle any more
afterward than it did before.

sounds more like they are trying to talk you out of it, have it replaced and
if it rattles, bring it back until they fix it correctly
