ATF Z-1 or Dexron III

My Honda Civic Hybrid manual recommends "always use Honda ATF-Z1" but also
mentioned Dexron III ATF but the latter "can affect shift quality". Any
opinion on this?? Thanks! -d

They want you to know you can use Dexron in a pinch, but it will shift
poorly.

Same goes for any Honda automatic. Want smooth shifts ? ?  Use the right
tranny fluid.

He read the answer, he knows the answer. Why people keeps insisting in not
following the best advice they have?
