97 Accord EX Coupe Driver's Window not moving (makes grinding noise) regulator or ?

Grease the regulator with a waterproof white grease.
and read previous messages re windows.

I have replaced the regulator and motor on the earlier body style
Accords (86-89 & 90-93) but thought the 97 would be more "robust".
I did a search for other 94-97 Accord models but no results for window
regulators.

bad regulator motor assembly, they are the cable style, one of the
cables broke.  comes as one piece.
