Change your oil regularly and an engine flush should not be necessary.  With
an engine flush you run the risk of loosening enough large particles of
sludge that the oil pump pick-up screen becomes plugged thereby starving
your engine of oil.  You also increase the risk of having your engine
develop oil leaks.
