The power steering pump goes bad on my '95 accord about every month to six weeks. The new power steering fluid turns black in about two weeks. I keep changing the fluid and it continues to turn black and I have to replace the pump. I can not find any leaks. When I install the new pumps they work like new, but won't last. I have not found any of them getting hot! Why are you replacing the pumps? Hi Steve, The pump starts squealling and the wheels get hard to turn.
