Hey guys,

I own a 1992 Accord EX sedan. I want to change my brake pads. At autozone I
have two options of either Nissin or Akebono calipers.  Which would be
recommended or are there other brands out there that I should consider?  A
mechanic told me that the pads at Autozone squeal a lot and are of poor
quality.  He wants to sell me a brand that I can't remember but I do
remember that they cost $70-$80 the pair.  Any advise is greatly
appreciated.

Your Honda dealer parts department has a fine package of pads and all
the nwecessary parts for that car. Leave thw rotors alone if they are
O.K.now. Clean up the rusty outer edge with sandpaper, and use silicone
lube on all the sliding parts. Mine has been fine for over 100,000
miles.      bob
