Honda issued a recall (Automatic Transmission Second Gear Inspection) for
certain 2002-04 Odysseys and 2003-04 Pilots. The recall was issued for
possible premature transmission damage and/or failure. In vehicles under
15,000 miles, an oil jet kit is installed. Over 15,000, an inspection is
done and one of two remedies is taken, the oil jet kit is installed or you
may get a new transmission.

this was news back in april when we first started doing them, if you
haven't got a notice in the mail don't come running because honda is
holding back on parts. we get allocated them now and then, we don't
have a huge stck of them like people wrongly assume.
