I'm looking into installing an A/C kit on my 1991 Honda Accord myself.
There is an air conditioner kit offered on the Majestic Honda site:
http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&cat
cgry1=Accord&catcgry2=1991&catcgry3=4DR+DX&catcgry4=KA5MT&catcgry5=AIR+CONDITION
ER+KIT

Is this 'all' I need to get a fully functional airconditioning?
Does anyone on the group have an experience in this?
Can it be done, or do I need to take half of the car apart?

Regards,

I've never attempted to install a factory AC system.  However, it looks
fairly complete.  Though, I would give the folks at Majestic Honda a call
just make sure that everything is included.  For example, I don't see the
mounting bracket for the compressor in that picture.  You'll also need to
check your crankshaft pulley to make sure that it's compatible.  I also
don't see any hardware for adjusting the AC belt or any wiring for the
switch in the dash.  Any missing components could be picked up at a wrecking
yard or from Majestic.  Note that installing components under the dash is
likely to be a challenge especially if you've never taken a dash apart.

installing ac on your car is easy
the insides, switch and evaporator are a breeze.
the aftermarket ac system is 100% complete down to every bolt nut washer and
wire tie.

a replacement compressor for a 91 accord is about the same price as that
majestics price.

I dont see all the other parts would come with it.

Does anyone know if they made a kit like this for
a 1997 Accord Wagon?
