Hello, I was looking at Honda Accord Coupe's and realised they were
actually quite decently priced compared to a good second hand civic. The
trouble is I couldn't find any 3.0 coupe's with manual transmission. Do
they actually exist? Also are Accord coupes unpopular for some reason,
I'm wondering if they depreciate rapidly (although that suits me in a
way). Best to mention I'm talking about UK Hondas here.

Thanks

I'm in North America, and the Accord Manuals are VERY rare.
I would imagine even more rare, since the automatic tranny
problems have become more prevalent...

the manuals are actually more $$ than autos...

That figures, I haven't found any (and there's not that many 3.0's
anyway). I think I might go for an Accord Type-R instead, they're
quicker and have the 2.2 Vtech engine instead of a fuel guzzling 3.0.
Thanks for the help.

Jeffrey, In north america the accord V6 3.0 does not come with a manual
tranny between 98-02. Only automatic.

I don't think you are correct on that, I was shopping for a
99 accord v6, and found a 6-spd manual.  But it was REALLY
expensive, so not worth it.

Ok, a bit difficult if a lot of the posters are from the US. Obviously
manuals will be harder to come by. But they seem pretty rare even here.
I think I'll ponder the Type-R Saloon instead.

It wasnt a v6, unless it was a tranny swap.only the 4 banger coupes have the
manual option
