I was originally in the market to purchase a 2004 Accord EX v6 until I
heard of the recalls regarding the transmission.

My question is will this problem be fixed for the new 2005's that come
out after September? Or is there a chance they will be recalled down the
line as well? -- My thinking is that knowing exactly what the problem
is, Honda would be able to correct it before shipping the new 2005's
out. But I might be offbase here.

I really like the car, but don't want the hassle of a recall.

Anyone have some insight on this?

Thank you in advance.

The recall fixes the problem and the recalls were done prior to the cars
leaving the factory once the problem was discovered

An 04 at this point will already have the work completed.
