The tire reviews at Tire Rack must be rigged. The Michelin HX MXM4 tires get
damning comments. I have those on my RSX-S and they don't seem bad. However,
I'm getting tired of dishing out $150.00 per tire every 30,000 miles. I'm
looking at the favorably reviewed Kumho Ecsta MX 205/55-16 tire at $91.00
each.

Can I have comments on the Kumho's and/or recommendations on other tires?

Thanks,

Dave M.

I have the Kumho Ecsta 712 on my '03 and love them.  If you don't want to
replace them so quickly look for something with a higher UTQG rating.

my 2 cents.

When you look at the reviews on Tirerack.com, pay particular attention to
the number of miles listed on each comment.  Many of the reviews are posted
after the first 1000 miles or so, and I just don't see how they reflect
anything but initial impressions.

I have had good luck with Yokohamas and Toyos on my Nissons/Infinitis, and
consistently unsatisfying experiences with Michelins on the Acuras &
Infinitis.

If you really want to save money, try used tires. Usually you can find tires
with 70-80% tread for less than half the regular price, sometimes as low as
a third or quarter.

I bought 4 good Michelins H rated for my integra for $120, works for me.

I like Michelin tires and have also have had success with Goodyear tires.
Regardless of the brand, get the tires that have a 80,000 gurrantee. If
they wear out sooner, take them back.
