Tie rod end arm & steering arm distance?

How many centimeters or inches on the steering arm do I have to insert into
the tie rod end arm?, or How many do have to leave free once insert the
"golden nut-The one that tightens the tie rod arm,- between were the threads
of the steering arm start and the back of the nut?..

In both, left side and right side?!..

My car is a Civic LX '91.

I can use my Brother's car as a reference if you think it's the same type
(wich I think it is).

He's is a Civic DX '91!...

Count the number of threads that are visible before you take the tie rods
apart. Then put them as close as possible to the original count when you
reassemble the suspension. After your done, you'll need an alignment. It's
unlikely that you can get the alignment correct without any special tools to
measure the toe. Moreover, Hondas typically require a 4-wheel alignment.
The rear toe angle is adjustable on your '91 Civic and this will affect the
car's steering thrust angle. It's best to get it done right so that you
don't scrub away your tires prematurely.

I count turns as I unscrew the old tie rod, then put the new one in the same
amount of turns. Then I Align them
