Has anyone ever taken a similar car to get an engine tuneup? What does it
entail? My car has 95,000 miles and the engine is getting noisier and
vibrating more.

Have you done ANY maintenance on the vehicle?  It should have gone in for a
90,000 mile service.  You can get the details of the items done at that
service at https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=honda but it is
rather comprehensive.

I just took my 1999 Accord in for the 90,000 service a couple of weeks ago
and it cost almost $300 with nothing other than the normal service
required - of course.  (-:

The 105,000 service is the big one where the timing belt gets replaced.  You
absolutely do not want to skip that one.
