Just got rid of my peice of crap 2001 dodge dakota pickup and traded it in for a used honds crv. This is my first Honda. Just changed the oil 5w30 it says 4 quarts in the manual. Put in 4 quarts started it up shut down waited a few minutes checked level looks like it is below the full line on the dipstick. Should I use more than 4 quarts ? Also any tips on preventing oil drain from filter dripping onto exhaust when removing oil filter. Man that little oil filter is really in an awkward place especially when you are on your back under the vehicle while its up on ramps. Last but not least. Are those K&N air intake systems any good ? Same thing with changing the rear differential fluid. If it makes a horrible noise when doing tight left-hand turns, change it ASAP. Use only Dual Pump Fluid from honda. Its got the Honda pre owned certified warranty. From what they told me up to 1 year warranty on drive train, motor, parts and labor.
