'88 Accord PCV valve

If I have PCV valve, would this cause problems?

Sorry for the newbie question, I am used to working on diesels!  This
is my 4th Honda but the 1st one I've worked on.  I am having a
timing/running problem I mentioned in another post too.

Sorry,  I meant to say what if I have no PCV valve...  I discovered
without a PCV valve that the huge air leak in the manifold caused the
engined to idle at almost 3000 RPM!  I installed a PCV and answered my
question.
