The dealership that I've been dealing with for over two decades, is able to
bring in the colour of vehicle that the customer wants.

A Honda dealer orders his vehicles months in advance. He is given an
allocation, a number or quantity of each model he may order and he picks the
quantity given among the different colors offered. At certain times, not all
colors may be available. Basically the dealer must have a crystal ball to be
able to predict what will sell in the next season. But that's his job.
If a dealer doesn't have the particular color in the model you want, he
should accomodate the customer by searching for the exact vehicle from other
dealers and then trade the other dealer for the car you want. The search is
easily done on the Honda dealer network that all dealers have.
If the dealer won't do this for you, find another dealer.
