Several of the sedan colors come only with that ivory interior also,
including the red I really wanted. I went with the gray exterior
instead, so I could get the charcoal interior. That ivory is truly
ugly, and it's bound to show any dirt.

WELL...Varity is the spice of life and opinions are like a.sholes, we
all got'em...but I LIKE the ivory interior and I LIKE, as you describe,
"That huge kiddie-colored tach and video-game speedo". I will agree the
light color will probably show the dirt, but I sprayed it with
Scotch-Guard and hope the fabric will release the soil when the time
comes. Ya, it would be nice to have more color options but like it or
not, it probably does help keep the price down.
BUT AN OBSVERSATION: What is curious to me is how inflamed and crazed
one becomes over the colors and options of a vehicle. Take a pill and
chill...If you don't like what you see, move on...

Sorry if you took my comments to be "inflamed and crazy". Maybe you're
taking the wrong pills?
Anyway, limiting a consumer's choice is never good business. Honda, are you
listening? Fire the dolt who came up with that awful 70's-look blue interior
and let me order a Civic Hybrid with a black or gray interior. I'll even pay
a few dollars more if you can offer me something other than the
bargain-basement fabrics you're currently using. Oh, and a sunroof option on
the Hybrid would be nice too.
