1994 HOnda Accord exr
140kms

When your going up a hill and kicks her in, the RPM"s go waaaaaaaay up. Then
when to slack off on the gas, she's ok.

On the highway believe it or not, the car does not sleep.

Mainly when you  kick the car in.
If you manual change it, it seems to be ok.

Also worth noting, the speedometer is working intermittently.

I am expecting the worst and hoping for the best.

Does anyone know a solution or than tranny replacement?
BTW the car has been like this for quite awhile.

All feedback would be nice.

Pls email devilsadvocate66@hotmail.com or post to group.

thanks

What kind of fluid is in it, and when was it last changed? ('quite a
while' is a long time for an automatic tranny) :-(

Any error codes? Is the Check Engine light one? Sounds suspiciaously like a
bad VSS to me.
