It really is worth the trip to Steinbach.
That's where I got my CRV. Good service, no pressure, no hassles.
I did buy some parts from there some time ago, they even gave me a deal, 10%
off. (I bought like $600 for a major overhaul).
Now that I live near Niverville, it makes more sense too. Good idea!
Thanks

my other pet peeve is that no matter how good or bad these dealerships are,
the prices they charge for parts is completely outrageous! We're talking 50%
or higher than Majestic or SLHonda. Its like that for all automotive parts
up here... wonder why?

Import parts (such as honda) are always more expensive and dealers have to
make money to support those fancy showrooms. ;-)
I always google for the best value in genuine honda, but I also take into
account aftermarket prices for certain components.
I'm hoping with my CRV that I don't have to do any major repairs for a
while.

No the dealers in Canada take it to whole new level when it comes to prices
VS the dealerships in the US. We're talking 30-50% more for the same exact
part in Canada vs the US from a dealership.
Even on Aftermarket parts, in Canada we pay more. Whatever the market will
bear I guess.
