My 91 honda Accord overheats when idle but when in motion the heat
temp lowers. When idle i checked then fans and they where not on.
When i turn on the air conditioning only the driver side fan turns on.
ht eonly way the fans work is when i turn on the air conditioning and
when the needle goes above the middle of the heat meter
my question is why would it overheat when idle and how come the fans
dont work normaly?

If the passenger-side fan never comes on, the fan switch is bad. You have
two, actually ("A" and "B").

Are you saying that both fans work when the air is on and the engine has
reached operating temp? If both come on at that point you have a circulation
problem with the coolant. If only the one works either the motor is bad or
the relay is bad.
