I had my 15k service last week for my 04 Elantra GT, as well as the VA state safety inspection. The only issue that came up was the need to replace the 2 license plate bulbs which had both blown. According to the service manager this is a common issue on the 5-door because of the repeated shutting of the heavy hatch. Just curious if anyone else had needed to replace their bulbs, and over what frequency? Neil. I've done a few, but I don't think it's any more than any other car. Of course, some people use their trunk/hatch more than others.
