The fuel filter is under the rear seat. It can be accessed by
unclipping the clips on the front of the rear seat and raising it up
as far as possible (not far). You'll find a black plate attached to
the floor pan which just pulls off although it has clips and sealant
on it that may increase the effort required a bit.
this will expose the filter. before removing it unclip the electrical
connector to the pump and start the engine. This will relieve the fuel
pressure when the engine stalls a few seconds later.
The clips on the filter are easy to remove, just push the blue bit in
and slide off. You will find an earth strap on the filter as well.
This unclips by squeezing it as well before sliding it off.
You may find it far easier and more decent to undo the 12mm hex
(i think)  bolts at the rear of the rear seats instead of just
forcing the seat up.
All in all a fairly simple job that should be done every 60,000km. A
clogged fuel filter puts extra load on the fuel pump and will cause
premature failure of the pump. I'd sooner replace a filter before it's
absolutely needed than shell out for a new pump.
