the mileometer / speedo has stopped working on my 01 accent.

how do i fix this?

the car dealer said i need to re attach a lead?

where do i find the lead?

There's a speed sensor on top of the transmission differential housing.
It'll need to be plugged in.  The only other plugs that should affect this
are on the back of the instrument cluster, but I would think you'd have
many more problems if they were unplugged.

Any pictures of where the wire is?

Sorry.  I just looked at the schematic and it appears that you have a
speedometer cable, not a sensor on the trans.  It'll attach in the same
place.  If you look straight down past where your throttle body is, you
should see where the cable attaches to the transmission.  It also attaches
to the back of the cluser.  Other than that, I don't know what lead they're
talking about.
