My son is looking to buy a 2003 Accent from a private party.  It has about
24,000 miles on it.
Would the warranty on this Accent transfer to him??  Is there typically a
fee for this??  Could he go to any Hyundai dealer??
Thanks for any help!!

The basic warranty will be 5 years/60k miles on everything mechanical
except wearable/adjustment items.  It stays with the car.

Any reputable Hyundai dealer will be happy to provide warranty service.

How would the dealership know about the transferred ownership?
