car drives fine then when motor heats up check engine light comes on and
car loses power(acceleration) hooked up diagnostic and the codes were for
crank sensor i need help. will a bad crank sensor make the car do this has
anyone else had this problem?

It can't run correctly if the crank sensor isn't functioning correctly.
I'd start with replacing the crank sensor and see if all the problems go
away.
