how do I remove frontdoor panels to fix window?
hyundaitech - 06 Sep 2006 18:29 GMT
Presuming manual windows, rotate the window crank so it's facing upward.
Insert a flat blade screwdriver down in between the trim ring and crank.
While prying back on the trim ring, turn the crank.  This should pop the
retaining clip out.  Remove the trim covers from the pull handle and
remove any hidden screws.  Remove the retaining screw from the door handle
(may require removing a trim cover).  Remove any visible retaining screws.
Remove the plastic triangular cover by the mirror (snaps off).  Pull the
bottom of the door panel away from the door (held by retaining clips).
Lift the door panel off the sill and push the handle through the hole.
You may need to disconnect electrical connectors throughout this process.
