Hi there,

I am one of the guys who got the letter & I had infact noticed the
phenomenon on my car a few times before. As much as my wife would like
to think she is below that weight level that triggers the switch that
was not the reason :)

Anyway I took the car in & my dealer checked it out & said it looked
like they would have to send my car's seat out to California & after
over a week I got my car back. They did give me a rental car, oh & is
there no criteria that you should be given a rental of similar size.
My son's car seat could barely fit on the seat of the Nissan I was
given:)

That apart the real problem is I still have seen the light come on a
few times!

Did the dealer review with you/your wife the proper seating positions?
