As Subject, How often should the Trajet Timing Belt be replaced. I have 87k km on the clock and no record of a timing belt change. Am I on borrowed time?? Is it a simple task, or one for the Hyundai garage only?? Just had my V6 Sonata done for $600 Aussie Dollars. Has same engine as Trajet as far as I know. I think it was 60,000 km recommended. Probably a bit dear but a new engine fitted would be 10 times that I,m sure. I,d err on the side of safety. My next car will definitely have a chain though.
