im looking at a 2002 trooper with 90k miles on it for $11,000. is that a good
deal and is the mileage too high; will it need major repairs soon? im also
trying to sell my 2001 honda civic with 50000 miles on it for $12000. is that
too high an asking price?

1. get a list of all service done last 4 years
2. any parts replaced last 4 years - if yes, which parts? receipts?
3. tire warranty? tires replaced?
4. battery warranty? battery replaced?
5. do a VIN number based search (cost $20-25) which reports everything known about
this car
6. original owner? original papers, sales contract, title (no liens?)

for an idea of what the Trooper is worth.
