Hello all,

A few days ago my TOD stopped working (Auto and rear wheel indicators
flashed slowly on dash indicator).  I removed the front axel Valve
solenoid and checked it out... It seems to opperate fine and when I
re-installed it, I checked the vacuum on both ends where they attatch to
the diaphram.  When in 2WD mode, the vacuum is on one side of the
diaphram, and when I push 4WD auto button, the vacuum moves to the other
side- I guess this means the solenoid pack is working.  My dash indicator
still flashes... I crawled under the vehicle again, and inspected further.
I found the sensor on the diaphram (the diaphram the the axel solenoid
pack connects to via vacuum tubes) one wire was broken off- right at the
base of the sensor, so I am not able to solder it.

My question is:  Can just the sensor be replaced, and if so how can I
remove it (part of the vacuum tube to the diaphram is in the way for an
open end wrench)- I suppose I could cut the other wire and use a socket,
but I don't think there is room to get a wrench up there.  Would it be
easier to replace the whole diaphram assembly (does it come with the
sensor attatched?)?  Anyone have part numbers?-  I tried taking off the
diaphram assembly from the front axel to see if I could remove the sensor
that way, and a bunch of differential oil came pouring out- is that my
best bet for getting the sensor out?
