98 Rodeo - power steering loss, brake light, check engine light

While at a stop light:
Once the light turned green, pressed the accelerator and nothing happened.
Check engine light came on, brake light came on. Turned car off and then
back on again. After the car turned on again, the accelerator worked again,
but the power steering was no longer working and the brake light and check
engine light were both on still.
Any thoughts?

Stop by your local AutoZone and have them read the error code. Report
back the code and maybe someone here will have a better explanation.
Don't rely on AutoZone guys to tell you whats wrong. They just want to
sell parts to you.
