Hi guys,
subject says it all, 99 Trooper about 58K km. Started off as an
intermittently scraping sound like a loose object in/on the wheel. Got
worse when turning left now its worse when turning right. Inspection by
myself and later the local AA mechanic shows no loose bits/broken
cables. He reckons its coming from the drive shaft.  Switching front
wheel traction on/off did not help, neither did jumping the vehicle over
a few bumps.. 150kms later its getting worse, had to get home (slowly)
Any ideas?
TIA

Had the same once.
If it is an auto hub. Take it apart and add new grease.
It worked for me.
Kind regards,
Erik-Jan.

It was a metal flange rubbing against the inside of the wheel.
Thanks for your suggestions anyway.
