S-type no start

S-type 2000 V8 turns over but will not start
reset switch - no help
10 secs crank with foot on floor and release - no help
Car is full of fuel and can smell excess after cranking

Any ideas anyone

Fuel smell proves injectors are working but does not verify spark. Pull
the fuel pump relay and continue trying to start your car.
