Which XJ model build between years 1992-1995 do you recommend to a

Jaguar from -92 are all very safe to own.
The XJ81 (V12) is more expensive to own
and drive. If you want to use it every day I
suggest that you go for XJ40 with the 4.0 litre
inline 6 cyl. If you only want to have it for fun
and have enough money to feed her, go for
the XJ81.

Good luck

They say the 95-97 XJ6 are some of the best Jaguars ever made.  If you
wanted to use the car every day I would recommend the 6 , a 1994 or 1995 XJ6
depending on which body style you like better.

If you intend to use it as a special occasion car, say 5,000 miles a year, a
94 or 95-96 XJ12 is a heap of fun, a very satisfying car. The 94 XJ12 in the
XJ40 body style is a fantastic car, having owned one for 6 years.

Jukka your a man (or lady) after my own heart. Frequently on this newsgroup
do people go on about the V12's being inefficient, leaking oil etc etc - But
I reckon its all down to those with little Jaguar engine being jealous. (And
yes I have heard all the jokes about the size of an engine being inversely
proportional to the male anatomy)

Go out and get a V12. If its only you and partner get an XJS - If others get
an XJ6 but dont consider a little engine.

Enjoy !!!

Yes, what was it my wife told my brother when he said "I bet you wish
you got the V12."
Oh yes, "I would rather have six Big ones (ones, being the piston
diameter) than 12 little ones."

I love her!

Excuse me, but I have several of each and I must say that the V12 is quite
the waste of time, at least where pre HE engines are concerned.

I have, fitted to a SI, the worlds best 4.2. Other than a bit less grunt off
the line, there is little between it and a 12. And soooo easy to maintain
and repair.

Stuart, you sound cute. Have you got a picture? Have you got a boyfriend?
