You are correct... unfortunately not all radios that have the CD button
support a CD changer. I found this to my dismay when I purchased a changer
and had nowhere to plug the cable into the radio even though the 'CD'
marking was there for all to see!
When you obtain a radio that supports the changer it will be obvious where
to plug the cable i.e. it isn't 'hidden' on the radio you have. eBay is a
good place to obtain a cheap radio but make sure that you state you want the
security code also!
I bought mine off ebay but it came with no code and when I questioned the
seller, his reply was 'you didn't say you wanted a code and Ii don't have
it'! It cost me a further £12 to get it decoded!

Hi. So you *can* get a radio decoded? I'm in Aust and have disconnected my
battery a couple of times to avoid current drain (50 mA when not used - that is
another story - see my post on 28/8 (Aust time)). I have lost the bit of paper
that had my codes on! I remember the actual numbers but not the sequence of
keystrokes. Can any kind person help?
Regards
Alan
